I like big cats and I cannot lie! This is a collection of my favourite striped, dotted, spotted, furry, tufted felines. Colour coded for easy feline-filing as well!
This cheetah holds its gaze over one shoulder with a quiet, self-possessed calm – an energy that works beautifully in a room that wants a focal point without aggression. The palette is built from three clear notes: a flat, electric lemon yellow in the circular backdrop, a warm ivory-white in the unlit areas of the coat, and a dense, matte black used for the ink linework and spots. There is no brown, no warm amber – the yellow reads cool-edged and graphic rather than golden, which makes it closer in temperature to a citrus or acid lime than to mustard. That cool yellow is the print’s engine, and it pairs most naturally on walls in soft, chalky whites or pale off-whites with a barely-there green undertone, where it hums rather than shouts. For more contrast, a deep charcoal or near-black wall lets the yellow circle detach from the surface as if lit from within, while a muted sage green creates a tonal, analogous relationship with the yellow’s cooler edge. This is a print for interiors that lean contemporary graphic, modern maximalist, or bold Scandi – settings where a strong silhouette and a single pop of colour are doing all the work. It suits a home studio, a living room statement wall, or a teenager’s bedroom with actual taste. Part of the Cats & Dots collection – big cats, fluffy tails, each with its own colour – it sits alongside other prints from the series for an energetic, cohesive gallery wall, and makes a considered gift for anyone with an eye for design.
Printed on Enhanced Matte art paper using archival pigment inks, this is a smooth, gallery-grade stock with a soft, glare-free finish that earns the term museum-grade without needing glass to prove it; the matte surface sits equally well in a slim black or natural wood frame and inside a more ornate, heavier moulding without any sheen to fight against. At A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) the print is well-suited to a shelf lean, a desk, or a cluster within a gallery wall arrangement; at A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) the cheetah gains enough presence to stand alone as a proper statement piece on a mid-sized wall. This print is also available as a 28 × 40" (70 × 100 cm) canvas print, ready to hang with no frame needed.
