Dopey Disdain is built from five strong, clear colours: tomato red, soft bubblegum pink, dusty teal blue, warm peach skin tone, and bright white – with small accents of mustard yellow and grass green. The palette runs warm overall, with the red and peach anchoring its temperature, while the teal introduces just enough cool contrast to stop it feeling heavy. Against a warm white or soft cream wall, the red and peach tones settle in naturally and the white cat pops cleanly. A muted dusty teal – pulled directly from the background of the print itself – makes for a tonal, analogous pairing that draws the eye inward without competing.
