Jellysnakes Waldmeister Giclée Art Print

Jellysnakes expresses the meandering thoughts, distractions, and procrastinations of my mind. Each colour a different emotion evoked by a different thought, reaction to a cute cat video, the unexpected ring of the doorbell etc etc. All made come to silly life by adding a pair of googly eyes!

Waldmeister brings an instantly cheerful jolt of colour to a room: its palette runs through warm tangerine orange, deep forest green, bright lemon yellow, grape purple, soft coral pink, and a cool teal, all sitting against a warm sandy beige ground. That sandy undertone is your clearest guide to wall pairings – a warm off-white or pale stone will let the print breathe without competition, while a deep teal wall (drawn directly from the print’s own darkest section) creates a bold tonal echo that suits a more confident scheme. The coral pink and orange in the composition are warm enough to hold their own against a dusty terracotta or warm clay wall, and for those who prefer contrast, a soft sage green reads as a near-complementary foil to the grape purple without overwhelming the piece. Style-wise, this print sits comfortably in maximalist, contemporary playful, and mid-century modern interiors, and holds its own in an eclectic scheme where pattern and colour are already at play. It belongs in a child’s bedroom, a creative studio, or a kitchen wall where something genuinely lively is welcome – anywhere, really, that needs a mood lifted on a grey Tuesday. Part of the Jellysnakes collection – an explosion of colour and emotion in which each print brings a wandering thought or distraction to silly life with a pair of googly eyes – Waldmeister pairs naturally with the other five prints in the series for a gallery wall that’s as riotous as it is cohesive. It makes a strong gift for anyone who appreciates bold, joyful art without taking itself too seriously.

Printed with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag®, a museum-grade cotton paper with a subtle felt texture, the matte, glare-free surface means the print reads clearly in bright rooms without the washout that plagues glossy finishes – and that same surface sits well in both slim contemporary frames and more ornate vintage ones. At A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) or A3 (29.7 × 42 cm), Waldmeister earns its place on a shelf, a desk, or as part of a gallery wall grouping; at A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) it becomes a genuine focal point above a sideboard or in a reading corner; and at A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm) or A0 (84.1 × 118.9 cm) the snaking form and layered colours have room to fully animate a wall and anchor the space around them. This print is also available as a 28 × 40 inch (70 × 100 cm) canvas, ready to hang with no frame needed.
