Orange, Banana, Peach

Fruitery Totems are a tropical balancing act of cheerful fresh fruit. Part of the Intercontinental Fruitery series that was inspired by a love of naturally saturated fruit colours paired with typography….and my own frustration at not being able to find the right fruit themed artwork for my own kitchen 😉

Stacked against a dusty rose background, this print layers warm golden yellow, bright saffron orange, soft coral-peach and a deep slate blue shadow into a composition that reads as playful, sun-warmed and quietly confident. Those warm undertones make it a natural companion to walls in terracotta, warm cream or sandy oat – all analogous neighbours of the orange and yellow that dominate the palette – while the slate blue shadow means the print can hold its own against a deeper dusty teal or muted sage without losing its warmth. Avoid stark cool whites, which pull against the print’s sunlit temperature; instead a soft chalk or warm linen reads as genuinely considered. In terms of style, this print suits a retro-modern kitchen, a bold maximalist dining room, a playful mid-century interior and an eclectic Scandi-warm scheme equally well. Subject and mood make the kitchen the obvious home – above a splashback, along a run of open shelving, or grouped in a dining nook – but it works just as well in a utility room or a children’s eat-in space where a bit of cheerful wit is welcome. This print belongs to the Intercontinental Fruitery collection on Diedododa, an effervescent series celebrating the naturally saturated colours of fruit paired with considered typography. It hangs confidently alone and pairs with other prints from the collection for a gallery wall arrangement that brings the full spirit of the series together. It makes a particularly fitting gift for anyone who loves colour, good food or has been searching for just the right fruit print for their kitchen.

Printed using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® – a museum-grade cotton paper with a subtle felt texture – the matte, glare-free surface means the warm golden tones read true under kitchen spotlights and natural light alike, and the finish suits both slim oak or black modern frames and more ornate vintage mouldings without throwing unwanted reflection. At A4 the print slots neatly onto a shelf or into a gallery wall cluster; at A3 it holds a single wall in a compact kitchen or breakfast room; A2 steps up to confident statement territory above a dining table or sideboard; A1 fills a generous wall in an open-plan kitchen-diner; and at A0 the stacked composition becomes genuinely room-anchoring, commanding the kind of space a large dresser or range cooker sits against. This print is also available as a ready-to-hang canvas print at 28×40 inches (70×100 cm), requiring no frame.
