Bonnie Badger Giclée Art Print

Bonnie badger is leaning back and watching the world go by. Did you know that badgers will share their house (burrow) with other species such as rabbits, hares, or raccoon dogs….obviously not all at the same time because that could get quite messy!

Creature Features is a celebration of species tall and small – from exotic creatures to farmyard favourites. In the series I aim to put a contemporary spin on traditional wildlife illustration, depicting each species in bold colour combinations or playful poses.

There are lots more lovely creatures here

Bonnie Badger sits against a warm golden amber background with a salmon-coral shadow pooled beneath her, her fur moving between deep charcoal black, cool off-white, and a soft tawny brown at her belly – a palette that is distinctly warm with earthy, burnished undertones throughout. Those amber and ochre tones make this print a natural companion to walls painted in warm cream, soft terracotta, or a muted olive green, which echo the analogous warmth of the background without competing with it; for a bolder scheme, a deep forest green works as a near-complementary contrast to the amber, making the golden tones sing. The salmon-coral shadow – small but decisive – means a blush-toned or warm greige wall will pick up that accent and tie the whole composition together. In terms of style, this print genuinely suits a modern eclectic interior, a Scandinavian-influenced nature-themed scheme, a warm maximalist space, or a playful mid-century modern room. It earns a place in a kitchen or living room where personality matters, a child’s bedroom where curiosity is celebrated, or a reading nook that has room for charm. Bonnie Badger belongs to Diedododa’s Creature Features collection – a whimsical exploration of the animal kingdom rendered in bold, expressive strokes and vivid hues – and pairs naturally with other prints from the collection to build a gallery wall that is genuinely cohesive. It makes a considered gift for an animal lover, a nature enthusiast, or anyone furnishing a home with warmth and a little wit.

Printed with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® – a museum-grade cotton paper with a subtle felt texture – the surface is entirely matte and glare-free, which means it reads equally well in natural and artificial light and suits everything from a slim oak frame to an ornate antique gilt one. The A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) and A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) sizes sit happily on a shelf, a desktop ledge, or within a composed gallery wall; the A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) holds its own as a standalone statement above a side table or in a hallway; the A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm) brings real presence to a larger wall, and the A0 (84.1 × 118.9 cm) is substantial enough to anchor an entire room. This print is also available as a 28 × 40 inch (70 × 100 cm) canvas, ready to hang with no frame needed.
