This is the second exclusive custom illustration made in collaboration with the famous Edinburgh Gin Distillery. The style is based on vintage Art Deco era advertising posters which reflects the brand’s signature style. A genie is a benign spirit kept in a bottle which, when released, would grant the person who found the bottle 3 wishes…just don’t get greedy or we all know how the story ends! Printed on 308gsm heavyweight Hahnemühle fine art paper, this series is only available as giclée prints.
Hang this print where the room needs a jolt of glamour and good humour in equal measure. The palette is built around warm sand and soft cream in the background, punched through by deep burgundy-red, near-black, and vivid juniper-berry purple-blue, with softer notes of dusty rose and muted sage green threading through the botanicals. That warm, darkly sophisticated base means it sings against walls painted in deep dusty rose or warm terracotta – analogous neighbours of the burgundy anchoring the composition – and sits just as happily on a rich charcoal or slate wall, where the cream tones lift forward and the purple-blue berries take on an almost luminous quality. For a softer, tonal approach, a warm off-white with a barely-there yellow undertone echoes the sandy background and lets the print breathe. The Art Deco graphic style, the bold black gloves, the stylised flapper-era silhouette, and those swirling botanicals make this a natural fit for Art Deco, Maximalist, Eclectic, and Mid-Century Modern interiors. It belongs in a home bar, a dining room sideboard wall, or a well-dressed kitchen – anywhere the ritual of a well-made drink is taken seriously. Part of the Edinburgh Gin collection, a series that functions, in the artist’s own words, as a jubilant visual cocktail brimming with colour and abstract botanical imagery, it pairs beautifully with other prints from the collection for a gallery wall that brings real wit and sophistication to a space. It makes an excellent gift for a gin enthusiast, a cocktail lover, or anyone who decorates with personality.
The print is produced using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag®, a museum-grade cotton paper with a subtle felt texture; the matte, glare-free surface works equally well in a slim black or brass Art Deco frame and in a more ornate vintage mount, with no reflections to contend with regardless of the light source. The A4 suits a shelf vignette or a tight gallery wall grouping, A3 holds its own above a bar cart or drinks trolley, A2 makes a confident centrepiece above a sideboard, and at A1 the composition commands a whole wall – the scale at which the swirling botanicals and bold figure really come into their own. This print is also available as a ready-to-hang canvas measuring 28×40 inches (70×100 cm), requiring no frame.
