This is Cover: create an iconic cover for a fashion magazine.
Why didn’t you do Vogue? The short answer is: because fashion/fashion magazines are rarely humorous and silly…. And really what’s more iconic than a special edition of the 2020 (and counting) pandemic. It had to be Dazed because 2020 went by in a hazy daze of months and and bad hair (don’t care) days mostly spent in pyjamas.
Who better to put on the cover than Dame Vivienne Westwood in this iconic caught off guard banana eating shot by Jürgen Teller….
Warm caramel, burnt orange, blush pink, chalky cream, and a flash of banana yellow – this print runs entirely on a sun-baked, warm-toned palette with almost no cool notes to speak of.
