Les Parfums Bloom is a follow up of my series of scent illustrations featuring 4 of the main fragrance families used in perfumery; focusing on botanicals and abstract shapes to evoke a perfume’s intricate bouquet and mood.
These are square giclée prints, available in a variety of sizes and will suit a living area or hallway, either as a main hero wall piece, or as smaller highlights.
Burnt orange and deep navy anchor this print’s bold geometry, warmed further by amber gold, dusty terracotta, muted olive and soft lavender that drift through the botanical layers beneath. Those warm, spice-toned hues sit at the heart of the colour decisions: walls in a deep ochre or tobacco brown create a tonal, enveloping harmony, while a warm off-white with a yellow undertone lets the orange and gold read at full intensity without competition. For contrast, a mid-toned slate blue – drawn directly from the navy geometry – makes a composed near-complementary pairing that feels deliberately curated rather than accidental. The print belongs naturally in maximalist, global-inspired, or Art Deco interiors, and holds its own equally well in a contemporary eclectic scheme where pattern and colour are used with confidence. Hang it in a living room above a deep sofa, in a dining room where the warmth of the palette deepens evening candlelight, or in a home study where something visually layered sustains interest over a working day.
