Yes, this one has strong Bambi influences…my favourite childhood book. Also the first animal I became obsessed with wanting to draw properly. Fast forward a few decades and here we are!
Creature Features is a celebration of species tall and small – from exotic creatures to farmyard favourites. In the series I aim to put a contemporary spin on traditional wildlife illustration, depicting each species in bold colour combinations or playful poses.

Coral-pink and warm golden yellow dominate this print, with the fawn’s rich chestnut brown and creamy white spots completing a palette that feels sunny, tender, and gently playful. Those warm undertones mean the print sings against walls painted in soft terracotta or dusty peach – analogous neighbours that deepen the coral without competing with it – and sits just as happily on a warm off-white or oat-toned wall, which lets the yellow beam forward as an accent. For contrast, a muted sage green (the near-complementary of coral-red) creates a fresh, garden-like pairing that still feels gentle rather than bold. In terms of style, this print suits cottagecore interiors, playful mid-century modern rooms, Scandi-warm nurseries, and the kind of eclectic maximalist space that layers pattern and colour with confidence. Its mood – quiet, wondering, a little wide-eyed – makes it a natural choice for a child’s bedroom or reading nook, but it works equally well above a console in a hallway that needs a moment of softness. It belongs to Diedododa’s Creature Features collection, a whimsical exploration of the animal kingdom rendered in vibrant colours and expressive strokes; it pairs naturally with other prints from the collection for a gallery wall that celebrates nature’s charm. It makes a particularly lovely gift for new parents, animal lovers, or anyone furnishing a warm and characterful home.
Printed with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® – a museum-grade cotton paper with a subtle felt texture – the matte, glare-free surface works with slim natural-wood frames and ornate gilded ones in equal measure, since there is no sheen to catch the light. The A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) and A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) sizes sit prettily on a shelf or within a mixed gallery wall; the A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) holds its own as a standalone piece above a bedside table or small desk; and the A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm) and A0 (84.1 × 118.9 cm) carry enough presence to anchor a feature wall or wide landing. This print is also available as a 28 × 40 inch (70 × 100 cm) canvas, ready to hang with no frame needed.
